Erasmus: Welcome at Colegiul Petru Rares / We are building together

After a warm welcome at the Colegiul Petru Rares and a nice reunion with some of the students and adults we already met in Augsburg or Rodez we found our place in the impressive Aula of the school which would be the centre of a lot of our activities in the next days.
The participant schools and the Werkstatt Solidarische Welt presented themselves.
A student from the University of Suceava gave us a lecture about the EU in respect of the European Elections and we had a debate about the pros and contras of EU-Legislation.
The theatre group of Petru Rares performed their play “Paper Airplanes”. The topic was the dreams and hopes of young adults, their disappointments and challenges with parents working abroad. Although the play was in Romanian it was so expressive that we could understand most of it.
The Straja School showed us elements of Romanian tradition singing and dancing in traditional costumes.
At last our students formed teams and went on a treasure hunt to discover the town of Suceava.
The next morning we continued with a workshop prepared by the Romanian students.
