On the first day we made an excursion with our Spanish partners to Füssen. After a walk up to the castle of Neuschwanstein and to the Marienbrücke with the marvellous view of the castle we got back to Füssen. There we had a tour of the Weltladen Füssen, which is supporting fair trade since 1992 starting first with a little room in a parish and moving to a little shop in the inner city of Füssen in 1997. Since 2007 the shop is located at Brotmarkt 8 and got enlarged in 2017 with a second shop at Brotmarkt 10 exclusively for Fair Fashion. We were informed about the producers whose products are sold and about the criteria of fair trade: Small producers are particularly disadvantaged in world trade. Fair trade shops buy their products at higher prices than on the world market and guarantee the producers a fair income.

The next day, Europe Day in Augsburg awaited us and our spanish guests.
